September is a special month for the entire X-philes fandom. This is the month when The X-Files premiered on TV back in 1993. For the X-philes, it was the start of a memorable and amazing journey with Mulder and Scully as they investigate alien abductions and paranormal phenomena while dodging bullets from a shadowy government.
To celebrate the 18th anniversary of The X-Files, the fandom - collectively known as X-philes, is launching the XF3 Twitter Campaign on September 10, 2011. Pinoy X-Philes will be participating in this campaign along with the millions of its fellow X-philes from across the globe.
Organized by X-Files News, the XF3 Twitter Campaign intends to bombard 20th Century Fox's Twitter page with tweets about the fandom's ongoing petition for the network to greenlight a third X-Files movie. Tweeting will start and run throughout the whole day of September 10.
