Star Trek TOS Retro Review: "The" Menagerie Parts I and II [The Trek Blog]

What could possibly be on Talos IV that would make Spock need to return his former commander there at the cost of his life and career, and possibly the career of his friend and current captain?

Wholly Trek Day [Old Worlds]

Via Astris celebrates the 2010 Wholly Trek Day the only way it knows how.

Retro-review, Star Trek Original Series: "Conscience of the King" (Episode S01E12)

This is one of those stories that could be taken out of Star Trek and played out, almost word for word, in any other setting. Retro-review, Star Trek Original Series: "Where No Man Has Gone Before" (Episode S01E01)

This is another episode that I would show to those new to the franchise. Though it brings us back to a simpler, less complicated time, it shows us that the crew of the Enterprise knew how to make tough choices and, more importantly, how to live with them.
